Tick Tock

How much longer?! Why is it that the past three weeks have felt like three months?! I'm a naturally slightly impatient person & seriously, if I don't have an answer in the next two weeks it's possible I'll go (even more) insane.
I'm hoping it will be next week I'll get an answer but then again, maybe ignorance is bliss. I feel a bit sick just thinking about it. Is there such a thing as wanting something too much? Whenever I bring it up in conversation at home my mum just tells me that it will be here when it's here, which if I'm honest makes me feel like screaming! Lol

Then I have to open the envelope & find out if it's a big fat 'YES' or a scary, didn't-quite-make-the-grade 'NO'.....

My GCSE's weren't as scary as this.

Chase them up, GND.

I can't see it being a "No", but if it is, we'll sneak you in undercover of darkness.

I have a good feeling about it and have everything crossed.

Thanks for asking ;o)

I don't know which would be worse - the disappointment of being turned down, or the sheer bloody misery that'll come along a few years after you've been accepted, when you realise exactly how much crap you'll have to put up with for the rest of your days !!

All the best - I'll keep my fingers crossed, as misery and angst are easier to handle when they're spread around...

I know how you feel. I've started waiting by the door for the postman - trying to beat my dog to the post!.
It should be in the next few days going by last time but if it hasn't arrived by the end of the week I'm going to be banging on their office door.

Fingers crossed !!!

gb813. I do hope so, thanks for the comment :o)

Alice, it is horrible, the waiting & wondering, arrgghh!

MECS, I know coppers moan about the job but I'm pretty sure the majority wouldn't change it for the world!
Are they? Well in that case it should be a breeze as everyone I know has been feeling my angst now! Poor guys! Lol

CRO, still nothing so I think I'll be phoning the tomorrow. Thanks for the comment & good luck mate, hopefully we'll both be successful (well, all 3 of us including brother) & I'll see you at training school!

Big Fella, thank you :o) I'm sure you wouldn't change it for the world, despite the odd cynical bits ;o)

PCCS, thanks! Let's hope so eh!
If not then specials, here I come! They won't be getting rid of me that easily! Lol

Thanks for all the good luck messages guys, much appreciated :o) xoxo
